Bottle to cup. Dark brown (almost black) very little head / lacing. Malty aroma & scent of fruits. Good porter flavor, but a little watery. Decent beer

Pours almost black, no light to be seen. No head at all. A bit of a light roast aroma. Surprising fizzy mouthfeel. Not special, I expected more.

Pours a slick jet black with very little viscosity. Thin head disappears quickly. Minimal aromas of roast with hints of coffee. A well-attenuated and fairly dry finishing robust porter. Nothing stands out or is too exciting about this one.

Nice start and middle; very flavorful, but the end leaves something to be desired, a bit too clean.

on Nitro at the Barley pub, Dark brown pour with beige head. aroma is some roast and some cocoa/coffee. a touch of dark fruit as well. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but the flavor is decent, though not striking, some coffee bean and milk chocolate followed by some roast at the finish. Not to bad, very drinkable, but ordinary.

Draft from a nitro tap. Pours a very deep brown with a creamy, light tan head. Light roasted notes with a little earth in the nose. Very low carbonation with a medium, creamy, yet slightly dry mouthfeel. Roasted malt, earth, mineral, and some wood on the palate. Medium finish. I would have liked a little more flavor out of this one.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby brown with a medium cremy light tan head that diminishes quickly leaving behind decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is a fruity malt with raisin and light roast. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter taste with light coffee and chocolate. Easy to drink, a good porter from Redhook.

Bottle from 3 Sons. Nice version, with a little smoke, some caramel and nuts if just a little too much carbonation. Deep brown , no lacing and not much head.
