| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Pours almost black, no light to be seen. No head at all. A bit of a light roast aroma. Surprising fizzy mouthfeel. Not special, I expected more. 22415brewery (67), redmond, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Pours a slick jet black with very little viscosity. Thin head disappears quickly. Minimal aromas of roast with hints of coffee. A well-attenuated and fairly dry finishing robust porter. Nothing stands out or is too exciting about this one. drowland (1432), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2009 on Nitro at the Barley pub, Dark brown pour with beige head. aroma is some roast and some cocoa/coffee. a touch of dark fruit as well. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but the flavor is decent, though not striking, some coffee bean and milk chocolate followed by some roast at the finish. Not to bad, very drinkable, but ordinary. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Draft from a nitro tap. Pours a very deep brown with a creamy, light tan head. Light roasted notes with a little earth in the nose. Very low carbonation with a medium, creamy, yet slightly dry mouthfeel. Roasted malt, earth, mineral, and some wood on the palate. Medium finish. I would have liked a little more flavor out of this one. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a dark ruby brown with a medium cremy light tan head that diminishes quickly leaving behind decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is a fruity malt with raisin and light roast. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter taste with light coffee and chocolate. Easy to drink, a good porter from Redhook. kassner (471), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
