355 ml bottle dated 102207. Pours a clear golden color with a bubbly off-white head that fades quickly. The aroma is nothing special. I don’t notice any hops or malts really Maybe a little on the grassy side. Watery mouth feel of no distinction. It actually leaves a bit of a light aftertaste. I think that’s the most apt description. This beer is non-distinct. It isn’t horrible but it isn’t wonderful. It just is....

Boring beer. I really have nothing else much to say. Looks nice, but really doesn’t sit much in the "exciting" arena.

Thin on the palate. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Sweet malt taste. Little hops noted. Fairly bland.

I disagree with the classification by the ratebeer guys. Whether or not this was intended by the Redhook brewers, this is kolsch. slightly sour aroma with a smooth, slightly sweet taste, this blond ale is refreshing and very drinkable. Again, better than its low rating here and it does NOT taste like any macro I’ve come across.

(Bottle) Aroma weak, malty. Seems more like a typical macro-brewed amber than anything else. A muted bitter aftertaste, only slight. Not particularly remarkable. Lacks some of the objectionable qualities of many similar beers. Weak carbonation, but this is ok. Not too thin. Passable. As you drink more, more bitterness and hops emerge. Overall impression...ok, but I’ve had much better stuff from Redhook and I’m quite disappointed.

Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy dingy hop with just a touch of malt. Taste is a bit abrasive, wheat like sweetness with a little bitterness. This just resembles macro lagers too much to be enjoyable.

All in all a good beer. Smells a little like cat piss but besides the smell the flavor tastes good very blondie/fruity. Girl Beer!
