2005 bottle. Light yellow body, mostly clear, maybe a chill haze, maybe not. Small white head, some retention. Aroma of grass, hay, wheat and a touch of grains. Flavor is a tad bitter, crisp on the finish and has a mellow hint of vanilla and honey, with some metaliic earthy/toasty grains. I make it sound more flavorful than it is, however, as it is mostly a dry, watery concoction of wheat, grassy hops and light almonds.

Redhook sure does suck.

On tap at Old Chicago, Rockford. A rather straight-forward golden ale - golden in color with a small white head. Light aroma with whiffs of wet grains, hay, and sweet wheat. Lightly sweet flavor, finishes a touch sour.

Blonde with a white head. Grassy malt aroma. Crisp sweet malt with a touch of honey. Medium bodied, a bit cloying on the sweet side. Bottle. CNY Brewfest Feb. 5 2005.

On draft at Beef O’Bradys. Ale is a translucent golden with a small white head. Aroma is very light, flower-like,with hints of honey. Very thin mouthfeel doesn’t help at all. Taste exhibits very little bitterness and lotsa carbonation. Nothing of interest to note about this one.

Golden, disapearing white head. Malt and bottled hops aroma. Malty yellow-tasting body, somewhat astringent. My "overall" number is high because this has made (and will make) an excellent warm-weather session beer: it is a perfect wedding of tasty beer and cannon fodder.

Poured golden with off white head. Sweet but not in a good way. Not a fan but appreciate the effort.
