This is a surprisingly complex brew. Very wheaty, with a very nice hoppy touch--almost floral nose. Satisfying--good cold or even warming. There are some sour tendencies, but this is a very nice beer. Drink it. Now.

(Draft) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Flavor of mild hops, some sour and skunkiness. Fairly bland and more of a thirst quencher.

Bottle: Sweet with light honey and Euro-lager aromas. Pours a lightly hazy yellowish-orange with a small white head with little staying power. Not much up front with very light sour and very light hop finish. Bland and boring.

Bottle. Light amber with a tiny, diminishing head. Grassy, slightly grainy aroma with some canned veggie(DMS?) qualities, aroma fairly faint. Lightly grainy flavor with a thin body and a fairly dry grassy hop finish. Not much hop bitterness, but not much malt sweetness, either. Not much of anything, really. Does have a tiny bit of that buttery Red Hook thing in the background. Well carbonated. There are plenty of other lightly flavored beers that are easier to drink than this. Drink those.

I like Red Hook products but I’m not a big fan of this one. Too sweet, rather boring, Not a bad beer, but I’ve had better. This beer can be nice on a summer day but thats about it.

The head was mid-sized and beige colored. The body was a dark amber. The flavor wasn’t bad. Not very bitter. But this beer was preceded by the worst beer I’ve ever had, so maybe my standards were lowered.

Sampled draught at Tony Roma’s Burbank.
Clear deep golden, small head. Light flowery, honeyish aroma. Sweet and clean with hard mouthfeel. Low-medium bitterness. Fizzy and quite boring.

Yellow, with an off white head. Sweet grassiness in the aroma, with little else. Bitter and slightly tinny, but does finish nicely.
