I don’t know how to describe it exactly, but I probably drank it in under two minutes and it probably warrants a re-rate. But I liked it! It’s a cool summer beer, for sure - and that's funny, 'cos it says it's a Winter beer! leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a golden color with a quickly diminishing white head. Kind of an earthy hops nose. Light bodied with mild roasted malt and a gentle hop flavor. Nothing too exciting but a good summer beer. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2004 (12 oz bottle) This is a fairly generic blonde ale that is a malty and somewhat woody beer with a mild hops bitterness that definitely takes a back seat to the woody maltiness; It’s minimally sweet and even has a slight sourness, but this perfectly acceptable; Medium bodied with a well carbonated mouthfeel despite the lack of carbonation bubbles or head on this beer; Medium golden color and fairly hazy; Head is small on the pour, quickly fades to a very slim rim, and leaves no lacing kbjames (242), Utah, USA

The rating here seems a little bit low, granted I won’t be drinking much of this, but its ok. Nice yummy taste to it, another decent beer from redhook. cstuartj (326), Washington, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 12, 2004 The nose is supprising good, unfortunity it is all down hill from there. Strong taste of water, non of the hops that the nose promise appear on the tongue. All in all a big tease that offers up nothing at the end of the night. IndianaRed (1560), Boise, Idaho, USA

A bit fruity and sweet smelling. Malty and slightly sweet, little hops and a simple clean finish. Nothing special. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Taste starts almost sweet then lets you down very quickly ending slightly bitter. Mouthfeel is thin, decent for redhook though. mockerboy (52), Kansas, USA

Taste is pretty uneventfull with a mildly bitter finish. Not to bad but nothing to keep me coming back.
