Worth a try, especially if you like blonde ales or Red Hook. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Bought in the 12 oz brown stubby bottle.
A nice clear golden colour with a small pure white head that did not last long before disinigrating into a fine lace.
It has a nice clean aroma..witha sweet malt accent.
Mmmm, pretty subdued taste, light sweet malts, slightly dry finish and only a slight tough of hops.
I felt that this beer is over carbonated for my tastes..the carbonation wipes out any delicate flavours this beer might have
Though having said this its very very easy to drink in large quantities.

Very drinkable though still my respect for Redhook is still in decline. alcoholica (128), Dublin, Ohio, USA

Lightly malted and sort of sweet. Finish is smooth. A pretty decent beer, but I like the ESB much better. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 5, 2003 Not very good. Medium golden color. Pours flat with little or no head (the bottle I have is only 3 months old). -Perhaps too long for this type of beer? Anyway, besides the carbonation problem, the flavor just doesn't do a thing for me. Give me a flavorful pale lager over this stuff anyday!
