| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Deep golden pour with a sudsy head that retains to a thin cap... leaves lightly soapy lace. Straw, earthy bitters and a touch of corn on the tongue. Doesn’t really develop into anything from there... nothing complex. Sweet wheat mid-palate, with some slightly corn bitters toward the finish. Mouthfeel is thinner, the carbonation soft... ok, i guess. Again, nothing to write home about. OldMrCrow (1205), Seattle, Washington, USA

Gently sweet, wheaty with restrained hops, a bit of orange. Passable but entirely forgettable. bconger (78), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Bottle. Brassy golden pour with a thin, off-white head with pretty good lacing. Aromas of malt and peach cobbler. Nice and smooth toasty barley flavor with mild hops. The mouthfeel isn’t altogether smooth, but the carbonation is appropriate. Really not a bad beer and probably deserves higher ratings than it’s gotten. guyinchicago (538), marengo, Illinois, USA
