Nice golden brew with 1/4 cotton head. The aroma has a slight malt sweetness. Citrus and a bit bready...an okay session beer but wouldn’t ask for it again. bag (103), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 1, 2008 From bottle... poured a dead translucent gold w/ minimal white head. Aroma kind of like dirt, but interesting. Weak malty, watery flavor. Smooth finish. Overall, this is very easy to drink and not offensive in any way, just not much there. boFNjackson (1323), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Bottle... Poured clear golden with a fizzy white head that literally cleared to nothing in about 1.5 seconds. Fruity aroma, maybe apricots. Really foamy and bubbly, flavors consisted of spices and yeast to fruity, floral hops. Finishes with biscuit and cereal flavors. I think Red Hook is really going down hill with their quality. blipp (1766), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is light caramel and floral. Medium body. Light malt flavor with caramel and floral notes. Not bad but rather boring. PlainsDrifter (14), Adelphi, Maryland, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Very light, almost tasteless compared to other Blondes I have had. It is very drinkable, and would be refreshing on a hot day, but in my opinion, that is too much like water. changeup45 (807), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Light and fairly refreshing. Golden colored topped with a thin white head. Pretty basic taste with a slight malt flavor with some citric lemon notes mixed in - not much though. Definitely tastes more like a lager. Goes down pretty smooth but this is nothing special. It would be good for sitting in the hot sun or doing some yard work CelticBrew (714), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Pours a dirty gold color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Balanced flavor with the barley and hops. However, it quickly got boring. "A" typical gold/blond ale, with no real promise of character. A half slinger. vmilaxer29 (144), Virginia, USA
