CelticBrew (423), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA Apr 8, 2008 Pours a dirty gold color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Balanced flavor with the barley and hops. However, it quickly got boring. "A" typical gold/blond ale, with no real promise of character. A half slinger.
BlockBrew (50), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 20, 2008 Pours orange with minimal white head. Looks like most of their other beers. Smells like citrus, maybe a little hops. Taste is really light with a tiny bit of hops in the back. Very average and consistent beer. BelgianBeerGal (858), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jul 19, 2008 Bottled. Actually much better than expected. Very drinkable beer. Clear gold colour with a medium white head and decent lacing. Aroma is sweet malt but a little hop hiding. Flavour was more malt, definitely some wheat and a nice crisp finish. Sparky27 (427), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 19, 2008 Tap. Pours a dark clear gold with 2 finger white head a nice lacing. Nose is soap, light grain and malt. Taste is mostly sweet malt with grain and a weird tasting mild hop finish. Light-to-medium mouth feel. Not very good. fluffy (49), USA Jul 14, 2008 typical of most blond beers, this one is bland, thin, pretty flavorless and ultimately forgettable. carruthm (316), USA Jul 13, 2008 yellow pour, a tiny amount of citrus aroma and taste but it just never went anywhere.
