djd07 (414), Houston, Texas, USA Jan 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a light malt with yeast and light hop. The taste is a corn malt with light fruit and a bitter finish. Not too much going on with this golden ale from Redhook. fidelis83 (227), Clinton, Iowa, USA Dec 31, 2008 Pours light gold with a few tiny particulates and a 1 finger white head that quickly fades to a skim. Aroma is raw bread dough, wet straw, mop water and citrus hops. Flavor is grainy malt, sweet, toast and roast, a little nutty even. FInish is bitter hops grainy malt and a little corny, not sure if this has corn though. Body is thin and well carbonated. Decent brew, would be good for a BBQ / with ribs or other rich succulent meats. Not a great brew but I could see myself knocking back quite a few on a nice summer (hopefully bbq) evening. otismulligan (26), Yardley, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2008 bottle-pour into pint glass. see through golden color. nice frothy head. not much aroma somewhat doughy. a little sweetness, light body. not bad , not great. would like to try during the summer.
