| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2008 12 oz bottle. pours a very copper(thus the name) light hue with a quickly disipating head. the smell is remote almost non-exsistent. the intitial hit to the palate is very apparent however, crisp and poignent this amber ale has a caramel maltiness that rescues its hops and leaves you with a friendly aftertaste. I, personally, was pleasantly surprised and although this is no stout amber I enjoyed the quick, crisp punch of this brew. LooseCannon (936), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2008 I happened to like this one. Very fine carbonation, which makes this spring ale a highly drinkable, crisp beer. Actually my new favorite of the Redhook Brewery. A little sweet, like nectar, and overall very light and refreshing. riversideAK (2766), Shoreline, Washington, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Poured from bottle 3/2008. Malt, hop and maple syrup in aroma. Color does resemble copper, tan head persists. Pretty basic - malt and hops in flavor, Citrus is extremely slight. Nice finish. Good choice. HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Pours a medium amber with medium white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Strange aroma, something I can’t quite put into words, but not altogether pleasant. The taste is disappointing, with a malty flat presentation and thin mouthfeel. I expected more from Redhook. This brew reminds me of a mass marketed, bland beer. troopie (895), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 19, 2008 Bottle. Poured copper amber with thick white head. Much lacing. Lekker hoppy aroma. Thin malty body with a bit of hoppiness. Disappointing. Flat finish, some metal in the finish. This bear began much better than it ended.
