mild and spicey aroma, this beer pours a true copper colour, I mean this beer is burnt orange, with a small white head. Taste is a little musty, earthen. It has very light lacing, strong bite, and a bit of a rough finish.

My GF said this beer tasted like flowers. I couldn’t taste any flowers, or really, many flavors. Kind of a usual session type. Good to try and nice to drink, another party type beer when you don’t want to be stuck with macros.

On tap at the Brickhouse in Davidson, NC. Cool tap handle, but I wasn’t even really sure what they were going for when I tried it. Very light with a little bit of a crisp flavor... I downed it pretty fast but switched to something else after.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear light orange color with very little head. Sweet fruity aroma with a hint of something off, almost mildewy. It’s not overwhleming, but just noticable. Taste is slighty hoppy up front with a lightly sweet malt middle. Just OK.

Caramel and mint on the nose. Deep gold with some orange hues. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so...nice hop balance. Decent body, crisp, and a smooth finish. A less malty, maybe lighter Amber Ale.

Draft. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and this caries through to the flavor. Slight crisp hops in the finish. enjoyable and easy to drink but not challanging.

1/24/08 From the bottle. Aroma is light, with a faint blend of caramel sweet malt and hop flora, well blended, like one scent. Appearance is clear medium gold with a medium, well maintained off white head. Flavor is earthy, with moderate bittering and low flora. Flavors are very well integrated and fill the palate, but no single component stands out, like a perfectly balanced, low bittered pale ale. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with very low textures and a clean finish; this is about as easy drinking as they come. Overall, a clean beer that you can drink by the twelve pack.
