BAD beer. Pours a copper color, surprise! that provides no allure. Tiny fizzy head that dissapears instatly. Smells like MOVIE THEATER STALE VOMIT. Tastes like metal, bread, and water. A beer that was made useful by being used to lubricate my garbage disposal. Thanks redhook!

Pours a clear, light orange color, with plenty of carbonation. Slight spicy hop aroma and just a slight wiff of bready-malt. Tastes of very lightly toasted white bread, with some mild bitterness. A very drinkable session beer. I might buy some more of this when it warms up this summer.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a grassy hops and light malt. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a sour malt and a metallic finish. Not much going on with this one.

1-22-08 bottle.
Clear orange amber with little head. Very light subtle smell. First thing that I can notice is the overly carbonated palate. Citris tasting. In all honesty, this tastes identical to lime perrier!! Nothing else to it - it is really just lime perrier. Interesting - seems like a clone. Not beer-like at all though.

Clear shiny copper and although really light colored, looks nice with a decent white head atop. Smell is malty, a touch metallic and fruity. Taste is fresh and lightly tart malt. Sort of sharp, crisp, and lightly sourish, but not in a spoiled way. Medium bodied with refreshing carbonation and a bit of mild balancing bitterness. Refreshing, and not too bad.

Had this beer on 2/3/2007. Aroma is a slightly sour grainy scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is malty and bitter. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down easy and smooth. Finish comes in with a sweet malt flavor and some fruit tones then ends with a mild bitterness. Its a nice refreshing Spring Ale.

Bottle. Pleasant aroma of malt, some rye-like spice, light toffee and caramel. Pours light gold with a thin white head. Flavor doesn’t live up to the aroma. Lots of light grain, some malt and a hint of cardboard and toffee. Medium bodied.

Bottle… Lightly hazed golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Malty aromas of toffee and caramel with some earthy and medicinal notes as well. Malty, caramel and toffee flavor. Hopped just enough to prevent the sweetness from becoming overbearing. Medium to full-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and middle-of-the-road carbonation. Caramelized, sweet finish. It’s a malt bomb! Reminiscent of a Märzen or Maibock, but both of those are lagers and one of them is an autumn (not spring) seasonal.
