Nice copper color as advertised. A tocuh of hops on the nose, but mostly malty all the way through. Slightly sweet. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 31, 2007 Copper is a pretty good description of the color of this beer. It has a small and short lived head that leaves a small lacing. Aroma is a very pleasant floral, hop, and malt mixture. Flavor, like the aroma, is a combination of tart hops, sweet malt and honey. Nicely carbonated. Pleasant and refreshing. truegen (164), Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 25, 2007 12oz. bottle. Nice copper color. Other than that, it’s a lawnmower beer. Reminds me of Henry’s Private Reserve, another lawnmower beer. Get the work done, then have a better beer as a reward. Beerlando (2335), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 23, 2007 First taste 5/23/07. Almost clear, light copper color. Virtually no head. Light malt and hop mix. Fairly well balanced. Didn’t pick up any of the citrus as described in the commercial description. Nice bitterness, and not too sweet, which is good. Still, nothing spectacular here. Easy drinking when cold, but loses its character as it warms. Middle of the road at best. SJM620 (11), Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2007 I liked this better than the other seasonals. Nice copper color, refreshing beer. I expected it to be weaker than it was. Pleasantly surprised. zamco17 (134), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 14, 2007 The aroma is very mild. A little malty, a little acidic, a little hoppy. The hops are floral and a little cheesy. It’s copper, true to its name, and very clear, but the head is small and brief. It tastes roasty in a California Common sort of way, with cheesy hops, slight bitterness, and very light citrus notes. The mouth-feel is thin. Not a great success.
