| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Looks like a carbonated slightly more yellow macro, thin white slightly creamy head. Smells skunky/basement. not a good sign. Yeah, definitely tastes like a macro brew. This is disappointing. RedHook’s stuff is usually quasi solid, this is just gross. There was a faint malt taste but it was covered up by the seltzer water texture/taste. No aroma either. Blah. cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Red Hook Copper, on tap at the Bocktown. Looks like any other ubiquitous pale yellow American beer. Has a big white head with both small and large bubbles. Aroma is slightly copperlike (!) and almost hoppy. Perhaps I smell a little fruitiness also. A taste of mild hops greets yer taste buds. Has some flavors of brown ale or Belgian doubles. Seem to be a little watered down at times. However there is nice medium carbonation. No bitterness on the back of the throat even tho it has a slight hoppiness on the initial flavors. The finish is mildly bitter but does not hang or linger. A likeable and repeatable beer. Just as good as Great Divide Ridgeline Amber Ale (Arapahoe Amber). The emphasis is on flavor rather than feel. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Not much lacing on glass. No real distinguishing characteristic, but still an enjoyable, drinkable beer. Little bitterness, thin mouthfeel. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville. Pours amber orange with a nice off white head. Aroma of british malts and fruity ale yeast. Medium-light carbonation and British bitter like mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee and caramel, with some faint tart citrus. Very mild hoppiness on the finish, along with some mild sourness. Overall this is a decent beer, but it is not very memorable either. SSSteve (2105), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
