from the sniff got a nice little funk like a very light Bell’s Kalamazoo stout. The mouthfeel is thin. There ain’t much to taste but what’s there is innocuous and smooth. Again, the funk gives a little life to this otherwise boring brew.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with good carbonation but not much head. Looks like carbonated apple juice. Aroma is very light but hoppy with some light sweetness. Flavor is hops at the beginning with some light malts in the middle. Rather weak in the body but has a crisp finish. Session beer.

Pours a three finger white head that fades to a thin layer leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Flavor is bland just weak hops. Slight metallic aftertaste. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capitol Convenience Concord, NH.

Bottle from Total Wine. Bottle is dressed up in a teal blue with a copper fish on it. Let’s see if this is any good. Pours your standard golden amber color with a small white head. Aroma is very faint hops. Taste is a little bitter with some of the typical amber ale traits, okay finish. Not bad, will probably be an occasional beer.

Yeasty, bready aroma with some light sherry bock and horse/wet dog. Fair label. Clear oaken beer with a thin pearly white head. Bitter, candied citrus, cereal, slight brine. Long bitter aftertaste. Slick going down, medium-light body, not fizzy. Fair.

Aroma is somewhat hoppy and hints of fruit. Twelve ounce bottle pours clear - slightly redder than an apple juice; head is off-white, medium height and relatively coarse and quickly disperses. Body is light - more so than I expected and easily overpowered by food. The hops, sugar, citrus, honey, spices are all subdued but well balanced. Goes down watery and smooth with a slightly oily after-mouthfeel and a faint fruity aftertaste.
