This poured a very clear and light amber color that left a small white head with minimal lacing. Nose was malts and grassy hops. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth and clean. Flavor was of a slight sweet malts with just a hint of hops. Finish slight bitter and dry. Nothing fancy here but nothing wrong either. Decent brew

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Gully for bringing me back this on your many travels, pretty unique looking bottle I like it. As the name suggests the body is a hazy copper color complete with a thick creamy head that had fairly good retention, lots of effervescence to constantly replenish the cap and some nice spotty lacing. Awesome aroma nice and hoppy and a good malt presence, dam it the good smell has vanished where did it go I can still kind of pick up a mild sweet hoppiness. Taste is slightly bitter, so very good and malty, nice mild hop presence. This beer has a perfect balanced of hops and malt so rich and flavorful. This has a nice light feel good carbonation but slightly watery, the brew has a strange watermelon hubabuba finish. This is a phenomenal beer the taste is next to perfect, clean refreshing and so very easy to drink. I was trying to drink this slowly to give a proper review but I couldn’t help myself it vanished in a matter of minutes making me long for more. Review done while watching dirty jobs.

Bottle - Pours yellowish copper. I can’t pick up much on the nose, maybe a little malty. Nice very smooth summer time beer. As much citrus as an APA but without the hops. Finish clean with a little carbonation.

Copper in color, citrus aroma and fainter citrus flavor with a bit of tartness in the aftertaste.

Came in a Red Hook Sampler Pack! I’ve always been a fan of their ESB. This is OK, nothing special. I did not pour into a glass so I cannot comment on color/clarity. Sticking my nose in the bottle produces a faint aroma. It is a little light on flavor...funny how nothing really stands out...very smooth.

Bottle. Caramel malt aroma. Light amber body, small head. Sweet fruity malt flavor, fairly heavy body. Not too bad.

Sample from a bottle in the VIP tent at WBF Raleigh on 5/2/09. Copper pour. Short tan head.Nose is light malt, hops and caramel. Taste is grassy hops, caramel, sweet malt, and light spicy hops. Chewy, medium bodied beer with light carbonation. Ends with more grassy and spicy hops, faint fruit, caramel, and malt notes.
