Bottle. Gummy, goopy caramel and toffee aroma envelopes like a blanket, good malt contribution but not getting much from the hops, maybe a touch of citric mustiness. Pale copper body with a soapy beige head. Big caramel taste, some sweetness mixed with nuttiness, mostly light and bouncy but has some wicked dark Alt notes. Toffee, hearty bread, and a touch of toasted grain. Little bit of orange and apple juice. Light body and playful. Really enjoyed it!

Pours orange-copper into the glass, with diminishing foam that leaves light lace. Some citrus pops up in the nose, nothing huge... maybe some herbal notes. The flavors are somewhat a cross between citrus and biscuits. There is a tiny bitter to the back, but nothing to raise the complexity. Thin mouthfeel with zesty carbonation... not seltzer-like, but is what it’s touted to be... crisp. An ever-so-slight macro corn note or two as it finishes, but nothing overwhelming. Not the best amber I’ve had, but would probably make for a good lawnmower beer in hot temps. Ok, I guess.

Clear amber appearance with a small white head and good lacing. A hint of straw in the aroma before sweet malts took over. Biscuit-like, malty flavor, moderately hopped, with a bit of spicyness in the aftertaste. Light-to-medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a less than crisp, gummy finish.

Drinkable, I guess. I gave my 2-year aged Bells Porter to my brother-in-law and drank this with my hamburger on Memorial Day weekend. There’s a lilting hoppiness and some malt body but both are a bit thin for my tastes. Fine, just.

Nice copper color off-white head with good lacing. Aroma is herbal, slight cider note. Taste is sweet malts with a modest amount of hops. Slight bitter finish, lightly acidic. Nothing exciting here just a solid easy drinking amber.

Pours a delightfully, illuminating copper colour with a medium sized frothy beige head. Aroma is somewhat nutty at first, quickly blends into a moderately grassy character. Initial taste is a touch of sour, citrusy fruit. possible green apples, lime- something like that. but smoothes into slightly roasted malts, caramel and maple syrup. Nice beer overall.

Copper pour with a quarter-inch white head. Subtle malt aroma with a touch of hops. Flavor is malty with a touch of caramel and a hint of nut. Mild and middle of the road, overall.
