Draft at the WABL 3rd anniversary party. Crystal clear dark amber with scant gray rim. Stale spent grain and wet leaves on the nose. Sour laundry as well. Flat, watery body. Stale, flat, sour, slightly acrid mid-palate. None of those things was intended, I don’t imagine. Long stale orange peel finish. Just mystifyingly bad. RH is a professional, well-run outfit. Not sure what happened behind the brewroom doors here.

Dec 18, 2008 Fruity aroma. Lager like sulphur notes perhaps. Burny orange pour with no head. Malty caramel sweetness. Some raisins maybe with some chemical flavors, somewhat like a malt liquor. I would rather have a malt liquor I think.
