Had to double check the label, and sure enough, it does say coffee on the label. Well, how do you like that. If you like malts, caramel, bitterness and lots of coffee, then this is for you. Really dark and roasted. Dark appearance naturally. Good lacing. Nose has chocolate, not coffee. Hmm... Solid black color with light brown, very frothy (billowy) head. Aroma of chocolate malt and light coffee. Reasonably light mouthfeel with hints of coffee beans (no Folgers, that is) at the back of the throat. Full, and bitter on the tongue. More hopcoffee presence on aftertaste. Nose of chocolate and coffee. Very rich and creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is of roasted malts and there is a little hop bitterness that also shows up in the finish.
