Nov 30, 2008 Tap at the Bob Hope Airport. Pours with a small, off-white head with decent lacing and a clear gold body. Aroma is malty and toasty with raw grain with light honey and some caramel. Flavor has a fruity hop up front with a clean, long lasting malty finish with a few fruity esters and some huskiness. Watery mouthfeel, light carbonation.

Nov 28, 2008 On tap @ brewery. A good standard brew. Decent head, decent aromas, mild fruity qualities mingle with lightly sugared malts and quiets hops. farily well balanced. Not overly copmplex but all things considered it is a good example of the style and a solid middle of the road offering.

Nov 27, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a lighter yellow/amber color with a minimal head that is lacking some retention. However, there was some decent lacing. Aroma is caramel and malt and I get a touch of DMS mixed with slight skunking...in a brown bottle? Flavor is nice and smooth. There’s hints of caramel malts and just a slight hint of bitterness to round everything out at the end. The mouthfeel is nice and rich, full. I see why a lot of people drink this beer, but it’s not totally for me.

The beer poured a amber body with a creamy smooth head.
The smell is of carmel malt and faint hops.
The taste is light sweetness and malt.
Nice carbonation and lacing. A easy to drink beer that has flavor and smoothness.

Nov 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper with an average head. Somewhat bitter, a little piny/citrus hop flavor, fairly smooth, a touch of caramel malt. I was disappointed with this beer, since I’ve heard a lot of hype. Maybe it went downhill once AB bought it, I don’t know. I was hoping for more maltiness and a more complex bitterness.

Nov 26, 2008 Color is a fairly typical clear amber; head is white, minimal, and not persistent. Aroma is fairly strong and as hoppy as it is malty. Flavor is fairly mellow and well-rounded, not complex but still pleasing, mainly malty with a nice nippy bitter undertone. Texture is smooth so it goes down the pipes easily. A good party brew.
