| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Not a huge fan of this ESB. It just had too watered down of a flavor to it to really come through as a good beer. Gypsy19 (654), California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 29, 2008 A decent, politically-correct "micro" that is easily drinkable, but nothing to write home about. Or just nothing to write about: This beer is boring... In other words, you could slap a Sam Adams label on it, and nobody would know the difference. I could see this being a hit among the hipster/metrosexual crowd because it looks more intelligent than a macro-domestic, yet is far from offending any delicate palates. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Very conventional in taste and finish. Pours a light amber color with a fast receding small head. Smooth, yet flat bitter inital taste, with hop type light bitter finish.
