Feb 5, 2008 Pours golden brown little to no head lightly carbonated. Grassy aroma with a slight presence of hops. Clean caramel followed but nice grain with a slightly bitter hop finish. Palate is buttery and smooth.

Feb 4, 2008 A good beer, had from the bottle at a Super Bowl party was was more impressed than I thought I would be. A nice full carmel like aroma. It had a real taste, something I haven’t thought other Red Hook’s have had. It finished nice with medium body after taste and not too bitter.

Feb 3, 2008 Decent beer. Very reasonable priced (purchased in a "greatest hits" mixed case). Moderate white head, with little lacing on the glass. A little bitter, not my favorite beer, but better than many.

Jan 27, 2008 Amber color with a white head. Has a sweet flavor with some mild bitterness. Im not a big ESB fan, but I could drink a few of these.

Jan 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light red with a hint of gold to it. Very nice head. Aroma is of malt, very sweet with a hint of alcohol. Body is very thin. Flavor is sweet malt, almost no hops very smooth. Bit of alcohol at the end. Decent brew. Not bad, not great. Good price. Very fresh.
