Nov 30, 2007 medium gold, slightly off-white head. citrus smell, taste of controlled hops, malts, & fruit/orange sweetness. Did not strike me as exceptionally bitter. More like a medium or weakly hopped pale ale.

Nov 29, 2007 Had this beer on 6/2/1999. Color is a light golden with good carbonation and a nice head. Aroma is a faint crystal malt scent that reminds me of something like a Bud. Taste is light, clean, and refreshing. It starts with a light body that goes down smooth. Finish is a mild bitterness with a lightly sharp malt flavor. Overall I feel it’s a pretty good drinking brew but it doesn’t fit it’s style
very well and I wouldn’t call it bitter.

Nov 26, 2007 12oz bottle. pours clear copper with soapy white head. nose is a pretty sweet toffee. flavor is way too sweet for an esb, lots of caramel and some dark fruits. pretty buttery too. light body. no hop flavor. an esb should not be undrinkable and this is too sweet for me.
