12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small diminishing ivory head. The aroma is slightly malty with pine and citrus hops. The taste is much of the same. Initial sweet malt followed by the citrus hops ending with decent bitterness. The flavors and aromas just need to be more present. Everything is a little weaker than I would like it.

Copper color. Considerable hops for the style, perhaps too much. There is a light bite to the beer. It lacks the smooth palate a bitter should have, as well as the malt character.

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Friday evening beer tasting social. Pours a semi-hazy coppery orange amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of powdered pine with hints of citrus and caramel. Taste is lightly carbonated, light with sweet malt and citrus zest. Finish is light and dry with a nice bitter aftertaste.

Light gold color with faint head. Not a bad beer, but for an ESB I would have like some bitterness to show through.

Rated 7/8/07. Draft at Clubhouse in downtown Orlando. Copper body with a small off-white head. Excellent, thick, off-white lacing all the way down the glass. Aroma was not strong, but I did pick up some caramel. Flavors included a caramel malt background with bitter hops up front. Also picked up some toffee and some grassy notes. Decent beer but I was expecting more. Aroma and flavor don’t live up to the nice appearance.

I don’t know what it was about this beer that I liked so much. Maybe it was the long day at work. There really isn’t a good aroma. It is really light. The appearance is fine but not eye catching. The flavor however is strong and bitter. THATS THE REASON I LIKE IT!!! The flavor lasts after it is gone and isn’t sour. A great beer for those who like to get punched with hops and bitterness!

Amber color. Light aroma, and it has a light taste of malt, caramel, honey, ending with an ordinary bitterness, but overall very simple.

Bottle. Clear golden color. Some malt flavor, some fruitiness, some hops, and a bitter finish. Pretty good, but nothing great.
