Not bad, but I’d had a few in me by the time I got to this one. I’ll circle back sometime. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is mellow,a bit floral with some caramel and some mild hops (English i think?). Taste is the same. Some orangish hops and a bit of nuttiness. Sort of a cross between a Pac Northwest Pale and an English bitter. Not bad at all for summer/fall quaffable beer. Could easily drink a few of these and be almost satisfied. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Pretty copper color. Hardly any head few bubbles. Slight opaqueness. I can smell the bitterness. Kind of grassy. Mildly bitter taste. Not much complexity. Sort of boring but not bad. Not alot of carbonation, watery. Can’t taste it all the way down. You stop and think MAYBE a dry finish would tie it together, maybe not. duffman462 (162), Gainesville, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2006 On tap at brewery. Not an exciting beer, but I grew up drinking this stuff. Malty in the nose. Flavor is mostly malt, some hops. This is a great beer for socializing. It’s nothing special, but it is quite refreshing. A great backyard beer.
