Bottle thanks to Drew. Bottle poured to glass. Copper colored brew with a rocky white head due to vigourous pour. Piney hop notes. Smooth bready malt flavor. Average mouth feel on the palate. Ok. lacing on the glass.

Another beer from the pac nw trip in September. Pours a burnt orange with a small head. Really biscuity malt on the nose, with oranges and spice. Flavor is bright and slightly bitter. Oranges, english tasting biscuit malt, caramel, spice. Nice beer, but not my favorite esb.

Bottle from Town and Country Market in Winters, CA. Poured a golden color with a slighty red hue. Not much head to speak of. Nice malty start with a little bit of a hop finish. Very easy drinker. Surprised this one isn’t rated a little higher.

bottle, bright golden pour with decent foam, aroma is mostly malt, flavor has nice hoppiness with a little fall off at the end, not metallic though which was surprising

Not sure why all the hate for this one. I happen to think these are decent and drink them often. It is a good beer that is well hopped and not too expensive. A good everyday beer to keep on hand.

On tap at a fundraiser I attended. Choices were this, 2 macros, or Sam Adams… pretty sure I made the wrong choice. Poured a golden amber with a medium white head. Aroma was almost non-existent, though I think I detected a hint of malt. Flavor followed the nose and was almost entirely empty as well save for a strange corn flavor. Finished a little metallic, with a little bit of bitterness. Not the worst thing I’ve had, but I didn’t go back for a second pint.

From a 12 oz bottle this beer pours a copper color - aroma of malt, hops and some slight citrus. Taste is pretty even keeled with no suprises - a little bit of a malty flavor with some hops on the backside. Easy drinker on Sunday afternoon while eating some burgers off the grill.
