| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 8, 2006 Looked wonderful with a nice white head and a old copper colour. Aroma of hops somewhat faint. Perhaps the beer is too cold. Maly and a little hoppy, but not the extent you expect in an IPA. It’s not even as hoppy as a Cape ale, more like an pale. Finish a little weak, but not unpleasant. A workaday beer. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Not nearly as hoppy as I would like in an IPA, but this is a great everyday drinking brew. One of the few micros I can find in 12 packs in my area, so it’s a nice choice for that reason. melvin980 (184), Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2006 12oz bottle, pours straw yellow with some white foam. Initial aroma is lots of citrus hops. Tastes like a decent IPA, some malt balanced with orange-lemon hop flavour. Ending is suprisingly not bitter, but somewhat sweet. A good intro to IPA.. kevd193213 (498), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
