| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2006 (Draft) Amber with about 1" of biscuit head that recedes to about 1/4". Flowery hop aroma. Mouthfeel smooth and pleasant. Tastes great and refreshing, a little bitterness overlays flowery and fruity hops, with some malt presence, esp. in finish. Good. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

A little thin in body but overall, pretty good. Took some bottles home with me, seems to me it’s better in the bottle. ryan (1780), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear light copper with a tight white head. Aroma is dominated by hops - primarily spicey and piney, but there is some perfumey character to it. Medium-light body. Flavor is dominated by hops, but it’s very light....more of a high end APA rather than an IPA. There is some malt that comes thru after a few drinks. Overall, this is a very nice drinking beer. It’s got a lot of flavor. I would say it’s similar to Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA--very well balanced, good amount of hops, but more of an APA. I did however, enjoy the beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2006 Bottle. Very std color and flavor for a good IPA. It pours amber-ish, has a small foam head. It is a good intro type beer for people starting their Hop quest. For people (like me) whom are full Hop heads, this is basic. Again, a very drinkable and std IPA, but nothing unique for the Hop Heads. redave (135), squaw valley, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Nice head, creamy, that at least stays a 1/4 inch all the way down, with a fairly thick lace. Nose is rather malty, low to non-existent hop aroma. Flavor isn’t too bad, a "lesser" IPA than I’m used to, but if I’m going to have to purchase something affiliated with A-B, this will do.... some nice bitter aftertaste. Maybe not recommended, but not my last choice of IPA’s.
