Crystal clear bass is a god way to describe its apperance. Medium disapating head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is hops and citrus. Feels good is he mouth. Not real fizzy. Smooth. Flavor is very nive at first, but this beers is missing something, or perhaps not as well balanced as it should be. Initally it is great but mid way through it turn to a metalic taste tha finished a bit astringent. Not bad, overall not a good as some others I’ve had.

Quite an enjoyable beer, Not really true to an IPA style as it is not very bitter, but the aroma and flavor of (Goldings)? hops is delicious and overwhelms the malt taste. If you like the flavor of pure hops, this beer is for you.

Orange pour. White head that hangs around for a while.....lots of carbonation. Aroma is piney, resiny....that’s what I love about a good IPA. Flavor is hoppy throughout but not the best balance I’ve had. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this, average IPA.

[bottle - 12 oz] Nice golden/orange color with a creamy looking white head. Slightly mild aroma, mostly hops with some floral notes and a hint of something sweet. Couldn’t really put my finger on what though. Nice floral and peppery hop taste at the beginning with a lingering finish of bitter hops and some floral notes. A touch of grapefruit at the end as well. The bitterness stays on the palate for a while and gives it a really nice and crisp finish. Medium bodied.

On Tap. Ordered this by accident, as wait person said that Red Hook Pale was on special. Honest mistake, and frankly one I’m glad she made. Normally, I’m not an IPA guy, this this was nice and smooth. Pours a dark yellow with a very small head, but that could have been because they served it a little too cold. Aroma wasn’t too forceful; spiced almost, with orchard fruits (apple, pear) and orchard flowers, and yeast. Flavor is similar. Fresh apples and pears, lightly spiced, with light yeast and perhaps some tangerine, floral bitterness, but extremely well blended with the other flavors. That bitterness disappeared fast too, as this finished very clean. The only real let down was the feel: watery and, dare I say, flat. Not that beer really needs carbonation, but this actually felt flat, not low carbonation. Lifeless body. But still, this is by far the best IPA I’ve had, though 1) I usually don’t care for IPAs and 2) I haven’t exactly had a ton of them. Either this is a gateway IPA, or something other IPA fans wouldn’t care for at all.

Bottled. Pours a golden/orange color. Sweet hoppy aroma, with some maltiness present. Flavor is mostly bitter. Not really all that well rounded. Not very good IPA.

Pours to a glowing golden straw body with a thin creamy white head and so-so lacing. The aroma is very herbal, sweet, and weedy. The flavor is herbal and has sweet doughy malts. Honey. The palate starts off sharply bitter then is immediately dominated by a dry sweetness. More like an APA or a bitter? Anyway, not bad, but not outstanding. Perhaps styled wrong?
