If you ask me taste is watered down and doesn’t have much flavor. What little amount of flavor it does have is mostly citrus. Maybe of grapefruit but thats saying a lot. Had to try this out since im a IPA lover but only person id recommond this to is a pale ale lover or a drinker who likes their beers toned down. beerandrugby (210), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

I’m a fan of the Red Hook products being that they are good and a little cheaper. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Its good, and fairly cheap, but not nearly as good as so many IPAs I’ve had. Still worth it a try and a return meathookjones (245), Sterling, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2004 It pours the standard deep orange golden color of most IPAs with a slight head that left the scene quickly. The smell was not what I would have expected detecting just about no hops only a slight sweetness. This tastes slightly bitter with a mild citruses taste from the few hops that are present. Not bad tasting overall but not great. Mouthfeel was average and it had average drinkability. Not the best but definatly not the worst, it will work in a pinch. skaughty (621), Marietta, Georgia, USA

Warm and dry, oh so nice. The carbonation was so admirable, as was the aroma...a grassy field with lemons. Flavor was yeasty for the style, but yum-yum. Finish was dry and long. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2004 (12 oz bottle) Smells sweet and lightly bready, but are there any actual hops in this IPA? I certainly can’t smell them. But tasting the beer, the flavor is indeed moderately bitter and hoppy, somewhat balanced by a mild, lightly sweet and bready maltiness. The moderate bitterness of this IPA is a little tame for the style, but the balance is still tipped slightly toward the hoppy end. Medium in body, balanced on the palate, but the hops makes the finish somewhat crisp. Pale gold color with a slight haze. The head is nearly white and exhibits average size and retention, settling to a thin layer. Fair amount of lacing. Quetzalcoatl (153), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
