Aroma is an ok hop blend forward with a decent sweet malt balance. Appearance is a clear gold with a good white head. Flavor is earthy, moderatly bitter hops forward with a faint malt balance. Mouthfeel is medium/light bodied with med/high carb feel. Overall, not bad, but needs to be better blended. MarkBarnes (266), Waterville, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Sept. 13, 2007; 12 oz. bottle. If you’re going to call a brew an IPA, it should come out swinging. The hops here are quite muted compared to top-flight IPAs; finish is on the watery side. Nothing at all offensive here, but definitely in the second tier of a robust style. If they called this a "pale ale", I’d have rated it higher. ;-) cazort (415), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Updated: Sep 15, 2007(Bottle, I’ve never had it on tap!) This was the first decent IPA I had and is the IPA which I use as the measuring-stick for all other IPA’s. It’s harsh like an IPA so, but not too much so that I don’t want to drink it. The hops have that planty quality and really hit you in the face; this brew isn’t terribly complex but it’s pretty good. I like the way it is not overly heavy. beerme420 (50), Corona, California, USA

This tastes, sells and, feels like an IPA but doesn’t pack the punch a good one give to you. I wouldn’t go out of my ay to find it. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Bottle--Muted would be the one word that comes to mind about every aspect of the beer, the aroma, look and most importantly the taste. It’s not bad, probably an average beer, as the ratings show. However, if this was the first IPA you ever tasted, you would be just shocked by the flavor and aroma of any good IPA. That said, the beer was a light, light gold color, with a light head. The beer was decent enough to leave a small amout of lacing throughout the drink. The aroma was of muted hops, so was the taste. The hops were there, just very muted. Thinking about it, the beer really brings two words to mind, muted and light. Go somewhere else, almost anywhere else for a better IPA. As for a better beer in your average supermarket or 7-11, it’s an OK choice. Produce Place, single.
