| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2008 A good ale for this time of year. It was suprising. The hop character jumped out in a good way. The Saaz give it a very spicy flavor on the palate. A good warmer. joekfsu (138), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours amber with a 3 cm off white foamy head that is mostly diminishing. Aroma of gingerbread and spice. Initial flavor of sweet malt and wheat. Flavor ends dry and clean. Light to medium body, moderate lacing, light on alcohol, and short on aftertaste. Overall a decent beer and worth a shot since it should be available just about everywhere. markas101 (566), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2008 Pours deep amber with a red tint. 1 inch ehad settles to a film in no time. Heavy lace rings. Aroma of dough, malt, and a little spice. Flavor is bland spicy malt and crystal, mineral water. Mouth feel is cold and runny and finish is hoppy bitter, and has a quick bite. The aroma, flavor and finish remind me of the fall season successfully. pj1855 (155), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
