<b>In short: </b>A dirty fluffy fruity beer of some kind (I think I got a bad bottle)<br />
<b>How: </b>Bottle 12oz, consumed a few days after purchase.<br />
<b>The look: </b>Murky dark-orange body topped by a very small beige head.<br />
<b>In long: </b>Ripe fruits, leather and sweat on the nose. Fluffy yeasty body with notes of extra-ripe bananas, juicy ripe citrus, moist, medium sweetnes. This is really not a clean beer, to the contrary. Fortunately the beer is not very tasty so it’s not so bad. I drank the beer just a few days after purchasing it from a little store in Princeton but I had the feeling I was drinking an old tired beer. I hope for Redhook’s sake that I got a bad bottle because the only thing that wasn’t wrong with this bottle was, well, the actual bottle.

Jan 5, 2009 Pours clear copper color with off white head. Light malt aroma. Biscuitty flavor with some caramel and a slight hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Average at best.

Jan 4, 2009 Fluffy pale yellow head. Pours a dark honey color. Slight hop aroma, huge tea tannins on the nose. Tingly acidic taste with a sour foamy palate. Not very enjoyable.

Dec 28, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a clear, dark copper with a bit of white head. It smelled like caramel and barley malts with light copper hops. It tasted like earthy barley malt mixed with roasted toffee and a bit of copper hops. It was slightly thick with a bit of carbonation, and had a bittersweet aftertaste. Overall this did not have a super clean or bold flavor.

A clear amber pour with a thin white head.Aroma of toasated caramel,warm bread,and faint spice like maybe nutmeg.Flavor is sort of a smooth nutty roasted caramel,rye bread,and very faint pimpkin, a small spicy hop finish.Feels pretty good in the mouth. Drinkable. I am suprised this was rated so low.
