Flavor is way weak for an IPA. Nothing really in the aftertaste. No hop bitters. Thin body. Very disappointing. watson1977 (279), , Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Pours Golden color. 1 finger head, that dissipated quickly. Smells wonderfully hoppy and clean. Has a good medium mouthfeel. Has a pretty clean taste too it and has some bitterness, but really not all that bitter, i expected a bit more out of an IPA. I like it, but then again im just now getting into IPAs and im still not loving overly hopped beers. Even with that I thought i would be getting a bit more out of this one...but still has a good flavor, just not too much going on here. I am abit suprised to see the abv on this is 6.5% though, feels much less. Baumgartner (108), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA

Appearance: Pours a clear, copper body with a thin, white head. Thin, delicate lacing on the way down.
Smell: Grassy, citrusy hop scents overlaying a very basic pale maltiness.
Taste: Pale malts with a medium sweetness. In succession: citrus, soap, grass. Medium bitterness. Dry, only faintly bitter finish. Redhook simply phones it in with this one.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: As an India Pale Ale, it’s very basic, very average, but not very memorable. MrBunn (1554), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Pour is fairly light... more of a gold than anything. Head is smallish. Aromas are fairly decent... a bit of the typical American IPA hops mixture... some pine, citrus and floral hops. Flavor is a watery mix of the above with a honey sweetness that takes over for just a second or two as the beer slides across the palate. It doesn’t work very well, and fortunately it is short-lived and things quickly finish with a bit of bitter hops. Still, the watery intro and the sweet middle phase are pretty big limitations for this mediocre IPA.
