Taste is hoppy, but balanced nicely with some malts. Light bodied.... not as bitter as a typical IPA. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 2, 2008 (Bottle). Citrusy aroma. Light orange color with almost no head. Flavor has the IPA citrus tang, and some hops bitterness and malt background, but everything is muted and overly restrained. Not bad really, just not enough. probstk (1060), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Clear deep golden, fair white froth.
Aroma: Strong fresh hopes – citrus and pine, leafy, light malts.
Palate: Medium body, sparse but sharp carbonation.
Flav.: Very fresh leafy hops that is almost savoury, some fruitiness; dry with fair bitterness.
Didn’t love the hop flavours. rayOfBeer (319), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Poured from tap an orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma was a muddled aged floral hop, toast, and wet cardboard. Flavor followed with a slightly bigger floral hop presence, a somewhat malty body and a lingering dry bitter finish. Overall tastes like it could have been a nice hoppy IPA but had aged and oxidized slightly letting in some off flavors and toning down the better hop aromas and flavors. I think I’d skip over this one on most occasions. Rynoplasty (543), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Aroma is hoppy, and the taste is citrusy, pine like hops as well but not as strong as most IPA’s. Definitely not the best IPA I have had but it isn’t bad. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Pours a light gold with a thin white head. Pretty nice hop aroma, but it lacks the hoppy taste, making this taste more like an American pale ale than an IPA. This is a fairly sessionable IPA, but it is nothing special.
