Commercial Description:
Everything great that was ever built required a long hammer. A trusty tool used by ordinary ordinary men to make extraordinary things. Transcontinental train tracks. Impossible pipelines. Soaring skyscraper. Long Hammer IPA puts this bold spirit in a bottle. And like its namesake, it's a beer built to stand the test of time.

A pretty solid IPA, but not my favorite. It had notable smokey flavor and aroma. I prefer a fruitier IPA, but this was definitly a well crafted beer.

Bottle. Copper pour with medium tan head. Aroma of sweet hops. Taste of pine and citrus hops with a bitter finish. Gets a slightly tarnished rep but not too shabby.

Pours pale gold with nice creamy white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity and floral. More malty than I would expect with a dash of bitterness, pine, and spice. Lingering sharpness but flavor fades as well. Not bad but could be even better.

I’m kind of new to IPAs, which is probably why I rated this higher than most. Reminds me of a flowery Sierra Nevada. Tends to get a little flat toward the bottom of the bottle, but that just might be my hand making it warm and less tasty. A lovely drink for a day of grilling.

Bottled. Light orange/copper color. Fruity aroma with pretty strong American hop aroma. Smells pretty good I think. Very easy to drink, perhaps too much so. Not extremely bitter. I think its a nice refreshing beer. Finishes a bit grassy.

Average IPA all around. Nothing unique, but still refreshing and easy to drink.

Draft. Poured pale yellow gold in color with a white frothy head. I was surprised to see an IPA quite this pale. Aroma mostly of floral hops and mildly sweet. Taste is more along the lines of an APA. The floral hops are present but in gereral its pretty one dimensional.

Pours a hazy golden with shades of orange. Creamy head. Very hoppy smell and taste. Floral, sweet, tart, its all there but nothing special. All the hop flavors seem to fall within a certain range so there is nothing exciting about this one. Very average IPA.
