May 18, 2008 A surprisingly good IPA from Red Hook. Very nice hoppiness, probably dry-hopped, balanced with malt. Flavors are crisp and slightly citrusy. A very good IPA for hop lovers.

May 13, 2008 1/7/08 on draft at Yard House. Slightly skunky with very little hop flavor. Alcohol not well hidden and beer not well balanced. One of the weaker IPAs I’ve tried.

May 7, 2008 Pours clear with a dark yellow color. Foamy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Very floral, hoppy aroma. Crisp, clean pine-tree flavor. I generally don’t like IPA’s, but this one is good. A little on the sweet side, common with Redhooks brews. Clean palate, smooth. This beer is good enough that it may change my opinion of IPA’s.

May 5, 2008 Updated: May 29, 2008another run of the mill IPA. certainly not bad and carries all the characteristics of an IPA but in average amounts to average extents. certainly a nice, reasonably priced session beer from a reputable brewer. maybe the cool name and cool label is worth something? nothing wrong with this brew, but a bit too uncomplicated for my tastes.

May 5, 2008 light gold colour with a thick white head.
Aroma is grapefruit and floral initially, then a malty background. Flavour is hoppy at first but balances well with a mellow malt and clean finish. Very drinkable with alc. blended well.
