Commercial Description:
Everything great that was ever built required a long hammer. A trusty tool used by ordinary ordinary men to make extraordinary things. Transcontinental train tracks. Impossible pipelines. Soaring skyscraper. Long Hammer IPA puts this bold spirit in a bottle. And like its namesake, it's a beer built to stand the test of time.

Pretty simple for an IPA, but highly drinkable. Definitely my favorite thing that I have had from Redhook. Mostly piney hop taste, but at 6.5% alcohol, there is some malt as well. Lighlty bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Orange/bronze color with a beige head. Mild floral and piney hop aroma. Flavor of citrus hops and some malt. Finish is some what hoppy. Above average.

Pours with a small white head and is a golden orange in color. Aroma is very faint with some bare hints of citrus. Mild citrus flavor comes through but little in the way of any lingering on the palate.

Smell is spice and even some florals making way. Flavor is a mild spice bite, but i cannot find those florals anywhere. Not very complex, but it is refreshing. A straightforward beer.

It pours golden orange with a quickly diminishing fizzy head. Aroma is of pine, hops, in a slightly metallic sort of way. Its flavor is again of hops, a little citrus, and a bitter finish, but not too bitter. I think this is very drinkable, and also very affordable. This is by no means the best IPA, but its better than a lot of other beers that you can get for the same price.

Light orange with a red tint. Clear with a thick white head. Much lighter than other IPA’s. Refreshing pine forest, almost minty hop smell. Some spice as well. Not much flavor. Sharp bitterness with just a hint of hops (this an IPA?). Some yeast and malt to finish. Eh - not very good....

Smell is very mild. Hops and vanilla. Golden honey-blond with a thin cream colored head. Flavor is mild. Too mild for style, but I kinda like it. Goes down exceptionally smooth for style.

Orange, with a white head. Aroma of, uh, beer, I guess. Flavor of beer, as well. It’s beer. If you can’t tell, it struggles to hold my interest...
