| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 22, 2008 This orange ale poured with a decent off-white head and a floral hoppy aroma. There is a strong grassy hop flavor that leaves a bitter palate. A decent refreshing drink. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 18, 2008 On tap. Poured a clear golden with a fizzy white head. Somewhat faint aroma of piney hops and some butter toffee. Flavor follows with bitterness up front with tastes of grass and pine needles with a bit of alcohol and an earthy dusty taste. Leans towards a bitter finish that loses a bit of hop flavor. I wouldn’t call this deep or especially complex, but it did its job during the time I was drinking it. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 18, 2008 12 oz bottle purchased at John’s Grocery in Iowa City. Poured a clear light orange color. Head was spritzy, white, and reduced quickly to a thin film. Aroma was of steeping barley, light caramel, and grassy hops. Fruity with only minimal sweetness. I tasted subdued apple, some kind of berry, and grassy hop. Paper thin body with mild hop bitterness of about 3-4 out of 10. Not much here worthy of praise. HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Nice light amber color with decent thin head. I liked the balance of hops and malt, and the aroma had a nice floral touch to it. Not as in-your-face as a lot of other IPAs, but still very drinkable. This could be good on a hot summer day when you’re grilling dinner in the back yard. rustbucket0873 (146), Krikville, New York, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. Bottled on: 01/15/08. Pours a very pale copper with a small light-tan head. A fair grapefruit/pine aroma, only very subtle in a pilsner-ish kinda way. Thin and watery with a good bit of carbonation. Tastes like a combination pilsner/IPA too. Grainy...hints of corn...bitter grapefruit and orange rind...dry finish. Drinkable enough.
