Commercial Description:
Everything great that was ever built required a long hammer. A trusty tool used by ordinary ordinary men to make extraordinary things. Transcontinental train tracks. Impossible pipelines. Soaring skyscraper. Long Hammer IPA puts this bold spirit in a bottle. And like its namesake, it's a beer built to stand the test of time.

Bottle pours clear gold with nice frothy head. Nice citrus and floral aroma. A bit vanilla sweetness with very little bitterness. Pretty mild and very drinkable IPA.

Pours a creamy head with lace and a deep golden body. Smells weakly of floral hops. Flavor is spice and floral hops. Finish is not overly bitter and I get a little anise.

Bottle. Poured a clear gold with some floaters. Aroma of grain, hops. Taste is not very hoppy and a litte sweet. Finish is mild. Not a very good IPA. Mouth is medium, with a small bite at end.

12 oz bottle - pours a golden cloudy color with an average head. Not much aroma. taste is a low level hoppy and wheat flavor. Nice for a mass produced IPA.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Deep yellow ale with a white head –almost like a lager in appearance. Nice aroma of aromatic hops and a bit of fruit. Lighter in body than many IPA’s, but very flavorful with an exceptional hops smack. Some malt sweetness at the start and a bit of apple / fruit overtone makes this a refreshing brew. Maybe a bit light for the style but this is the IPA I’ll pick for hot summer days.

Bottle. Pours a goldish copper. IPA? Whatever. Dont believe it. Smells rather bready with long distant aromas of citrus. Flavor is incredibly uneventful, with water being the big standout. Has a nasty bitter malt aftertaste that could only be washed away with a bite from a skunks ass. Fail.

One of the best. A staple. Probably number five on my list. Satisfactory for someone who likes Sierra Nevada.
