| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Deep yellow ale with a white head –almost like a lager in appearance. Nice aroma of aromatic hops and a bit of fruit. Lighter in body than many IPA’s, but very flavorful with an exceptional hops smack. Some malt sweetness at the start and a bit of apple / fruit overtone makes this a refreshing brew. Maybe a bit light for the style but this is the IPA I’ll pick for hot summer days. topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA

Aroma is light hops and a little malt. Flavor is light floral hops, a little malt, and a bit of metal. coyotehunter (557), , Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a goldish copper. IPA? Whatever. Dont believe it. Smells rather bready with long distant aromas of citrus. Flavor is incredibly uneventful, with water being the big standout. Has a nasty bitter malt aftertaste that could only be washed away with a bite from a skunks ass. Fail. Probably number five on my list. Satisfactory for someone who likes Sierra Nevada.
