Had a taste of pine, a bit of peach, and stale hops. It had an almost styrofoam taste to it as well. Very bitter in a low-quality hops way. No thank you. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Aroma of cirtus hops with touches of peach and a little malt showing through. poured light in color with a white head only a little darker than a pils. flavor was up font bitterness with some citrus and light peach notes. lean bodied and easy drinking. an okay beer. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 had a very earthy spicy flavor too it, although there wasn’t a whole lot of hop bitterness to it. Good but not great. Rustyham (585), miami, Florida, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Lame, sweet and corny, like a south american lager, with hop taste added, not none of the bitterness. More of a Pale Ale than an IPA Nice try guys, stick with the Porter. Bottle of the week at Abraxas, Miami Beach- $5 Bartzilla (444), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Ah, yeah, not a lot to see here, but it’s good if you’re on that last run of the night, scrambling to beat the clock at the supermarket, where your choices are limited. The way the ingredients are mixed up makes me sway more towards an English IPA, but it may not have been the intention of the brewer. So many different varieties of this style that it’s tough to really nail down. It’s alright, just not my expectation of an IPA. Birdiebeagle (811), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Draft Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. The head leaves quickly. Has a good aroma of hops. Mainly citrus but touches of malts also. The carbonation is good. Has a mild flavor but definetly has a hop base. Has a decent mouthfeel. The texture is between watery and oily. Has a good finish with a slight bitter aftertaste. A medium body. A lighter IPA but still darn drinkable. craftbeerdesign (761), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2009 sample on 6/14/09. average golden pour with a small with head. burst of floral hops on the nose and then falls flat. I wish this first burst of bitterness carried through the mouth, but there is only a small lingering bitterness. med body. very basic IPA. grobeen (25), , Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Not a show-stopper, but a decent beer. It is commonly available, and a good choice when the micro beers are unavailable. Smooth, mild form of an IPA, but so much better than any of the AB/Miller brands.
