Commercial Description:
Everything great that was ever built required a long hammer. A trusty tool used by ordinary ordinary men to make extraordinary things. Transcontinental train tracks. Impossible pipelines. Soaring skyscraper. Long Hammer IPA puts this bold spirit in a bottle. And like its namesake, it's a beer built to stand the test of time.

Cask at GBBF 2007. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, and grapefruit, as well as light fruity esters. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grapefruit, leading to a rather bitter and grassy finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, pale amber golden with a small, white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malty with a dry bitterness without much refinement. I really miss some fruitiness and some quality aroma hops in here. 290307

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2007, London. Hazy yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hoppy fruits along with grass. Flavour is really grassy and quite earthy. A quite boring IPA.

clear dark gold, fine dirty white head, sweet floral and citrus aroma, lots of floral hop flavor, light bitterness balances a touch of malty sweetness and leaves a nice bitter finish,

Slightly hazy golden colour. Woody, grassy aroma. Sweetish grainy taste with hints of pine and pale malt. OK starter micro, but leaves the seasoned PNW IPA drinker wanting.

Draught at the Yardhouse, Las Vegas
Hazy blond color. There is some hop aroma. Medium-light body, with a dryish mouthfeel, some caramel flavor and some hop; at first the hop has some qualities (resins...), but they get lost on the way. Golden Ale style.

Clear amber with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with hoppy, piney and caramel notes. Dry and bitter finish.
