Drew (2380), Kent, Ohio, USA Jun 13, 2007 On tap at various locations in DC/Georgetown, 6/4-7/07. Strange, everywhere I went to eat last week seemed to have this on tap. Very light gold - looks almost like a pale lager. At least there’s a hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Taste was ok - much sweeter than I expected, like a crystallized sugar flavor was added. Barely enough hops in it, I’m not sure I’d call it an IPA. Palate was on the thin side, but I didn’t mind so much as it was hot and muggy, the thinness was refreshing.
hombrepalo (571), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 9, 2009 12 oz bottle. Beer pours medium golden color with a totally retained off white colored head. Aroma is lightly, floral and spicy hoppy. Flavor is sweet, then followed by citrus hoppiness, and a bit of graininess. Not special at all for an IPA.
mspindler (28), Alta Loma, California, USA Jan 6, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with a thin white head and plenty of bubbles. Sweet malt aroma with some fruity hoppiness. Mild for an IPA. Flavor is clean and crisp. Citrusy hops, slight yeasty breadiness, smooth bitter finish. Light bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Very refreshing and drinkable, definately NOT a hop monster like many other IPAs. jimmay (47), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Jan 2, 2009 Bottle from Premier Gourmet. Dark amber in colour. Pours nice amount of off white head, leaving good lacing. Hoppy aroma. A good IPA. hayden1215 (302), Ohio, USA Dec 31, 2008 Slightly hazy, golden in color with a fair white head. Aroma is hops fruit and grass. Flavor is slightly sweet, floral. Only moderately bitter. bkurtz (242), Peru Dec 29, 2008 Poured golden with a smallish white head. Orange peel and other citris notes straight away, Slight bitterness and then a smooth finish. I really enjoyed this thirst quencher.
