Bottle. Browish/Amber with small off-white head. Medium aroma of roasted malt and nut. Flavor was medium sweet. Medium body with short finish. Average for style.

Sitting next to rich at Mcgrady’s, dark bronze tan head. Aroma to me seamed more of hazlenut and light toast malt nothing overpowering. Tasted okay almost an amaretto type bite to it, short lived. Nothing special

on tap at macgrady’s, a clear copper brew with very little head, a weak malty aroma with a little bit of anise. flavor is equally as weak with the same characteristics. body was quite watery with just a bit of a hop finish, not something i would go for a 2nd time.

Served ice cold in a frozen glass by the surliest bartender on the planet at the Sea-Tac airport. OK brown.

Pours a deep, dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, sweetish smell of carmelized brown sugar and nuts. Taste is rich: malty, with a touch of sugared toast and nut and a mild hop note. Light carbonation and a moderately syrupy mouthfeel ... like a very thin, watery syrup, but still there. I liked this beer ... it’s not the best brown ale out there, but it’s a welcome change from all of the pale lager swill I’ve rated lately.

Brown in appearance with tiny amount of off white colored head and has cloud of dust flakes floating through out the glass. Flavor is somewhat sweet of a brown sugar essence and also gives way of a small nutty character of hazelnut and pistachio. Nose is weak, but light aroma of toasted malt and a pistachio ice cream are what this reminded me of.

Nothing special. Dark brown and light on all taste. Somewhat nutty. Didn’t have much flavor, kinda watery.
