Hey I found a nut brown that I like. Starts of hoppy but finishes with that nice rosted malt flavor. The bitterness is just right. Thanks Red Hook.

This started out hoppy but the flavor was immediately blotted out by roasted malts and chocolate. Very enjoyable overall.

Color is amber brown with a light head, sort of lacey. Smell had a light, sweet malty tang. Taste was very clean and smooth with some slight caramal malt flavor and a small sweetness. Light feel of sweetness and tang at the finish, light-medium body, somewhat watery. This is a very mild brown without much going on. It can be sucked down very easily. I drank half before I could really start making out anything. Lightly flavored and pretty drinkable.

Small beige head atop a ruby body. Aroma is fairly sweet, and malty -- nutty and slightly roasty. Taste is nutty and moderately sweet, hint of roastiness toward the back of the throat. Also some floral hops. Medium bodied, with less-than-usual carbonation. Not a bad beer, but my description seems like it should make me like it more than I do.

Deep ruby red, clear body, topped by a short tan head. Soft palate with sweet nutty malts, a mild hop presence, some sourness at the end

(tap) This hit the spot after a round of golf. Not a hugely flavorful beer, but I enjoyed drinking it.

Has a medium amber/brown color with a good bit of carbonation and a light roasted smell. Taste is a bit watery with light roasted nut flavoring and finishes slightly bitter. Overall not a bad beer, but brown ales are not my thing.

As the name implies, it has a nutty brown color and i'ts complemented with a medium head. Nice aroma and astounding flavor. Nice brew.
