On tap: Medium brown color with a creamy head. Pleasantly sweet with some sour notes. Good roasted nutty profile, but could have a little more balance.

Nice dark ruby brown color, aroma of sweet malt and nuts. Taste is much the same with a slightly bitter/sweet finish.

A smooth, relaxing beer with nice flavor and a good finish. This is not an flashy offering, but is enjoyable.

The guy at the liquor store recommended this as an alternative to Newcastle. It wasn't bad, but seemed kind of thin. It looked nice with a dark brown color, but not much to enjoy besides taste of hops. An ok beer.

No real aroma; dark ruby-red appearance - little to no head. Kind of a metallic taste to it at first but mellows as it warms - nutty flavor starts to come through. Could be a bit more malty though. Bit of an artificial aftertaste.

Has a very 'Red Hook' taste. A fairly decent brown ale but nothing spectacular by any means. Its just a decent brown ale. Dont expect much and you shall receive.

Great dark brown colour, with a nice nutty smell. Good overall nut flavour, especially if you enjoy the taste. On par with the Ithaca Nut Brown--both tremendous beers!

Nice nut beer. Good hearty brown fluid with nice tan head. Good malty nutty aroma. Toasted dry nutty flavor with a good finish. creamy but not too thick mouthfeel.
