Commercial Description:
Slim Chance ale combines the best attributes of a crisp, refreshing ale without the extra calories. Golden kilned malt and a touch of wheat create this smooth, satisfying ale that is not your typical light beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a 1/4" white head. Aroma is corn, grains and some malt. Palate is thin and watery. Flavor is mild malt with some fruit characteristics. Pretty bland. Came as part of a brewers choice 12 pack I bought. It’s a slim chance I’ll drink another.

12oz bottle. Man pale corn aroma with some bitter. Yellow body with white head that disipated quick. Flavor of grain and corn. Not much of a light beer rather filling. Uck wish I would of got mine for free.

From the backlog, this was being given away at El Bait Shop a little while back, so free rate whoot whoot! This pours a clear golden color with a small head and a little lace. The aroma is citrusy and doughy. The flavor is very light, citrusy, and mildly spicy. The flavor altogether is wholly inoffensive but very faint; this is a very light ale.

Yellow pour with small white head. Fruity notes in the aroma, slight sweetness. Medium carbonation and metallic mouthfeel in taste. Mediocre at best.

Sampled on 4/21/2009. This light/blond ale pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and grassy, touch of sweetness. A light bodied blonde ale, designed as a light beer. The malts are grassy, fruity and slightly sweet. The hops are slightly spicy and grassy. The description of this beer as a light blond ale fits this beer fairly well. It has some flavors but they are so light it’s hard to figure out if this beer is good or bad. It’s a hot day here so it doesn’t taste all that bad. Kinda fizzy, but light and refreshing. If you want something low in alcohol that still has some flavor this might be a good choice. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp and dry. Rather nice really. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some dry grass. Flavor begins with a sweet bubblegum flavor then quickly turns bitter and dry with hints of stale hops, grass, hay, and dry malts. Watery and dry.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarkets - 12 oz bottle.Pours a slightly murky medium golden with a bit of a glint and a slight white head. Sweet aroma with hints of distant fruit and some buttery notes. Refreshing flavor with some of the same buttery notes, muted citrus, and just a hint of cereal. Crisp mouthfeel. Not a bad summer refresher.
