Jul 25, 2009 I’ve been avoiding this beer at trivia even though it’s the Happy Hour special this month but went to Redhook brewery recently and they’ve included it in the tour. It was there I learned they would be replacing the Blonde Ale with this abomination indefinitely. I might have rated it lower, but we had just biked 20 miles to get there and this tastes almost as good as what was in my water bottle.

Jul 24, 2009 My first rating from the Beerhive. Not exactly the nest beer, but anyway. Pours a light golden color with a nice medium white head. The aroma was light glue-like malts, light hops. The flavor was simple and decent; lots of sweet malts, sort of glue-like. Watery and easygoing. Not bad.

Jul 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours a light yellow, gold body with no head. The aroma is feint malt and maybe wheat. The flavor is very crisp and refreshing for what it is, which is a moderatley boring golden ale.

Jul 23, 2009 From tap Yard House in San Diego. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild malty. Cornish and malty flavoured. Light bitterness coming though. Bitter, dry and light fruity hoppy finish.

Jul 20, 2009 Tastes very unexciting. Looks like a pale lager, but basically has as little taste as possible to be offended at. Not interesting at all. Waste of space in the mix pack.

Jul 20, 2009 my latest sub 5%. bummer that this is well done bad beer. tastes like a perfected bud light clone with similar hopping and residual light malted sweetness. it is a typical light beer. some dry hopping and .2% or more less abv and you have a real ultralight.

Jul 17, 2009 Golden color with a minuscule hint of red. Thin white head followed by an aroma of malt but no true hoppyness. Flavor is light with a hint of sulfur balanced towards malt flavors. No bitterness. Finish hints at sour, but otherwise clean and balanced.

Jul 13, 2009 From a redhook mixed 12 pack. Light gold, small head no lacing. Dusty aroma. Flavor is grainy and lemon merangue, which was ok until the finish where a weird bitterness popped in and just about ruined it all.
