Pungent, rotten fruit and malt aroma. Palate was borderline unbearable and really stung the back of my mouth. All I tasted was squash and corn chips with this one and a sulfur like finish. jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 27, 2009 Draft. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a foamy white head. Nice fruity, floral, hop aroma. Flavor is light and refreshing with a fruity aftertaste. Not bad for a light beer. With its pleasant, but very mild flavor I could see this as a nice transition beer for people trying to branch out from the flavorless macros they may be used to. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 23, 2009 12oz bottle. Clear golden color, white fizzy head. Aroma of corn, hay, and old boards. Light flavor of straw and a nice floral hop follow up. Light bodied, medium flavor. It’s alright, not anything good. SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 I was just looking in the mirror today, and said "boy, are you fat!?!" ..thank goodness they made a light beer for the overweight beer drinker ... . Pours a standard gold with a low fizzy head ... and whats the deal with airline food ... . light corn husk in the nose .. . gambling is great, no doubt about it .. . hmmm, some flavours , light corn and other light sweet notes .. . scott fell last week and hasn’t shut up about it since ... . If this was on tap at shitty BMC bars (95% of all bars) and it was a mystery $2 pint deal, this would replace butt light in a week! ... that being said, it lacks any real micro brew flavours, but it gives you what it says... a light golden ale, no frills, and not offensive .. . morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2009 12 oz. single bottle from Total Wine here in Jacksonville, FL. A new offering from Red Hook? Strange. Pours a clear light gold color with a thin head. Aroma is mild with a bit of grain and maybe a touch of citrus. Taste is a bit grainy but very clean. I think this deserves a bit better than what the hopheads have given it---much better than your average light beer. argo0 (6978), Washington DC, USA
